Link API

The API documentation of the Link React component. Learn more about the props and the CSS customization points.

Component name

The MuiLink name can be used for providing default props or style overrides at the theme level.

Props

children* node The content of the link.
classes object Override or extend the styles applied to the component. See CSS API below for more details.

'primary' The color of the link.
component element type 'a' The component used for the root node. Either a string to use a HTML element or a component.
⚠️ Needs to be able to hold a ref.
TypographyClasses object classes prop applied to the Typography element.
underline 'none'
| 'hover'
| 'always'
'hover' Controls when the link should have an underline.
variant string 'inherit' Applies the theme typography styles.

The ref is forwarded to the root element.

Any other props supplied will be provided to the root element (Typography).
